Our flour is true whole wheat, meaning it is unsifted and contains all of the wheat bran and wheat germ. This means that is acts differently than your standard whole wheat flour, which has likely been sifted and is finer. You can substitute our whole wheat for sifted whole wheat flour in any recipe, but since it is more coarse, you will likely need to add additional liquid.
All of the recipes here have been tested (and approved!) using our whole wheat flour.
